The event was held in 2 nights. With 6 teams playing, each team played against all other teams with 5 boards. Different to imp scoring, there are only 3 kinds of scores in the score comparison. If your score is higher than the opponent's one (even with 10 point difference), then 2 points are awarded to your team. If it's a tie, then each team gets 1 mark. The team with the highest accumulated points is the winner.

 

Abby Chiu,Alan Sze, Leo Lam, Krystal Fang, Gordon Ho, Bubble Ho were leading in the 1st night. Terence chan's team has managed to fight back to a very close position in the 2nd night, however, they finally lost due to a slow play penalty of 0.05 VP. What an exciting match!

1. Players must be Chinese citizens (中國公民) (Please refer to the Immigration Department's website for the definition of "Chinese citizen")

2. Players must be born on or after 1st Jan, 1998

3. No subsidy will be provided by HKCBA except the tournament fee (if any)

If more than two pairs register, Trial Points will be used as the sole selection factor. In the event of a tie, it will be determined by draw.

53rd Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Championships are held Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East from 9/6 - 17/6. 

 

53rd Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Championships are held Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East from 9/6 - 17/6. 

Hong Kong are sending representatives in:

1) Senior Team

   i) Alex Leigh, KL Fung, Ko Chuen Ho, W H Fok, Henry Lam, Pauling Ling

   ii) Aaron Cheng, David Chan, Edmund Tse, Samuel Wan, Peter Yeung, Roger Ling

2) Open Team: Abby Chiu, KY Tam, Jacky Ip, Sunny Mo, Jim Lee, Kongo Kong

3) Ladies Team: Crystal Tang, Joyce Tung, Flora Wong, Charmian Koo, Pearlie Chan, Helen Yeung

4) Mixed Team: Lo Wing Ho, Vinci Lam, W W Cho, Corona Tsuei, Wong Kon, Zoe Chan

The Edmund Tse Cup 2023 (大專盃) resumes this year!

The Edmund Tse Cup is an annual event where university students from different institutions meet up to compete against each other. Over the past 3 years, the Edmund Tse Cup has been suspended due to the COVID pandemic. We are proud to announce that the Edmund Tse Cup will resume this summer, with details as follows:
 
Date: 24 - 25 June (Qualifying); 2 July (Finals)
Time: 11:00 - 19:00 (Tentative, will finalise after registration is over)
Venue: UG201, Composite Building, The University of Hong Kong
Eligibility: All full-time or part-time university students in the academic year of 2022-2023
Remarks:
(1) Members of each team has to come from the same university. 
(2) Each univiersity can send at most 4 teams to participate in the event.

With the generous sponsorship from Mr. Tse, the winning team of the event will receive a scholarship of HKD 12,000, while the runner up team will receive a scholarship of HKD 8,000.
