In a momentous achievement, the Men's Bridge Team emerged victorious in the Hangzhou 19th Asian Games, clinching their first-ever gold medal in the men's bridge finals. This is also the eighth gold medal bagged by Hong Kong, China in this Asian Games, equalizing the tally achieved at the previous Asian Games. Comprising talented individuals including Abby Chiu, Alan Sze, KF Mak, WK Lai, Gordan Ho, and Bubble Ho, the Hong Kong, China Men's Bridge Team showcased their exceptional skills as they triumphed over India. Prior to the finals, they faced a formidable opponent in Japan during the semi-finals. Following an intense battle spanning six sessions over two days, the Men's Team secured a commendable total score of 187.1 against Japan's 139, paving their way to the finals. Ultimately, with a remarkable total score of 229.1 to India's 152, the Hong Kong, China Men's Team emerged victorious, proudly claiming the gold medal.
