Open Mixed Pairs (Updated announcement)

The Ladies Open Pair Championship (2009-2010) held in October 2009 has been well received by the local bridge community with a total of (36) Pairs.
In view of this, HKCBA is pleased to organize another 1-session Pairs event in the form of Mixed Pairs on 15th March 2010.

Hong Kong Quadruple Pairs (2009-2010) Y. T. Fong Memorial Cup

The Quadruple Pairs (2009-2010) is a championship event that comprises 3-sessions of Match-Point Pairs. The championship is going to be held on 26th March 2010 (Friday evening) and 27th March 2010 (Saturday afternoon and also evening). Each unit of entry shall consist of exactly four players. A rotation of partnership is required between all 4 players for the 3 sessions. In other words, the 4 players must partner each other once.

Substitute Player

Due to the change of schedule in that two-thirds of the matches are held on Saturday, the provision of "Substitute Player" is hereby cancelled for this year.

27th March 2010 (Saturday afternoon)------- 2nd session: S. (2)
27th March 2010 (Saturday evening)--------- 3rd session: S. (3)

Dinner break is provided between Session (2) and session (3).

The 4th All-China games

Please note that the 4th All-China games will be held from 16 May to 26 May 2010. Please find attached the details of the announcement.
Interested parties please submit the application form with photos to David CC Ng by Feb 26.

Important Notes: Even any team wins the trial, it is still subjected to HK Committee (by LCSD) approval, so there is no guarantee that the winning team can automatically join the tournament. The criteria of approval by HK Committee will be based on the past 3 years performance. The deadline for registration will be Friday 26 Feb 2010 due to time constraint set by HK Committee.
