World Mind Sports Trial 2012 -- Senior Team

Hosted in Lille, France, from the 9th to 23rd August 2012 (pending further confirmation), the 2nd World Mind Sports Games incorporating the 14th World Bridge Games comprises the Open, the Women and the Senior team series. Trials will be held for each series in which there is more than one candidate.
Requirements of Entry
Each team should consist of 6 players with a non-playing captain. Only members of the HKCBA are eligible to participate in the trial and to represent Hong Kong. If any selected candidate, exclusive of the NPC, is unable to represent Hong Kong for the World Mind Sports Games, the representative right will be automatically revoked. Nevertheless, requests for exceptional considerations may be made to the HKCBA Council. The decision by the Council will be final and conclusive.
Costs of Participation
The candidates will be responsible for all costs associated with their participation in the World Mind Sports Games.

| China Resources Power Inter-city Bridge Championships 2012 |
The China Resources Power Inter-city Bridge Championships 2012 will be held at the Regal Hongkong Hotel from 1 to 5 August 2012. All events will take place in the Regal Ballroom, Monaco Rooms and Forum Rooms in B1 and B2.
The Opening Ceremony will take place on Wednesday 1 August 2012 at 11:45 at the Regal Palace Restaurant. The China Resources Power Open, Inter-city Ladies and Presidents Cup Youth Teams round robins will start on Wednesday 1st after the Opening Ceremony and finish on Friday 3rd, with the Play-offs starting on Friday 3rd.
In addition to these main events, there are also 7 other championship events, including the IMP Pairs, San Miguel Happy Hour Continuous Pairs, DBS Bank Swiss Team, Geely Automobile Open Pairs, Geely Automobile Swiss Pairs, Inter-city Mixed Pairs, and Inter-city Speedball Pairs.
The Closing Ceremony, with the prize presentation and a victory banquet, will take place on Sunday 5th August 2012 at 19:30 at the Regal Palace Restaurant.

Registration for the other events are only accepted at the venue up to 15 minutes before the official starting time.
